Clean beauty startup Vanity Wagon raised $2 million in Pre-Series A co-led by Lotus Herbals and Agility Ventures Partners where Inflection Point Ventures, Venture Catalysts, and other high-net individuals (HNIs) also participated.

Vanity Wagon is a clean beauty ecommerce marketplace based in Delhi. It sells clean beauty and wellness products in a variety of categories such as body, hair and face care, makeup, and mom and baby items. The funds will be used by Vanity Wagon to strengthen its market position and invest in brand building. The funds will also be used to expand the startup’s private label portfolio, offline retail, technology, marketing, and sales-driven strategies. According to Vanity Wagon, the current fundraising will help it onboard more clean beauty brands, build an omnichannel presence, and expand its global geographical footprint. According to a report, the country’s clean beauty sector is expected to be worth $0.84 billion in 2022, with a CAGR of 3.41% between 2022 and 2026.
