Amazon to provide 24-hour services in Delhi NCR

After three years of waiting, Amazon has finally been granted permission to deliver its products 24 hours a day, seven days a week in Delhi NCR, according to an official from the Delhi Governor’s office.

According to a PTI report, the ecommerce marketplace is one of 314 companies catering to essential commodities in the Delhi NCR region, including pharmacies, BPOs, food delivery, transportation, logistics, and others. The notice was issued on Sunday, October 9, 2022, and will be in effect beginning October 16, 2022. Sections 14, 15, and 16 of the Delhi Shops & Establishment Act, 1954 currently serve as a guideline for shops operating in the NCR region.
