Google has announced that its global rewards programme Google Play Points will be available in India in the coming week.
Google Play Store users in India can now earn points and rewards for purchases made on the app marketplace, including in-app items, apps, games, and subscriptions, according to the company. According to Santos Cohen, director of go-to-market for Google Play Points, the rewards programme has four levels: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. Google Play members will now receive different perks and prizes based on their tier and the number of points they have accumulated.
