Electric two-wheeler startup Motovolt Mobility raised $1.9 million in Pre-Series A led by Wami Capital where PPAP Automotive, JK Group’s Vikrampati Singhania, Crystal Crop’s Ankur Agarwal and PeeSafe’s Vikas Bagaria have also participated.
Motovolt operates electric bikes and two-wheelers with a top speed of less than 25 kmph and a rated power of less than 250W. According to a press release, the company intends to use the funds to launch new products, launch marketing campaigns, and expand its presence across India by opening more retail locations. In India, the company operates over 35 retail outlets.
