Edtech company iNurture Education Solutions has acquired Youth4Work, a talent assessment and skill profiling platform, to form a new venture called ‘Y4W Learning’. The acquisition is aimed at expanding iNurture’s offerings in the skill development and employability space.

The move is part of iNurture’s broader strategy to build a portfolio of products and services that cater to the needs of students and professionals seeking to upskill or reskill. Youth4Work’s expertise in talent assessment and skill profiling will complement iNurture’s existing offerings in the higher education and vocational training sectors.

Y4W Learning will offer a range of online courses and certifications across a variety of industries and domains, including IT, healthcare, management, and creative arts. The platform will leverage Youth4Work’s proprietary skill profiling engine to provide personalized learning paths and career guidance to students and professionals.

According to Ashwin Ajila, Founder and CEO of iNurture, the acquisition of Youth4Work will enable the company to provide a holistic learning experience to its users. “By combining our expertise in higher education and vocational training with Youth4Work’s assessment and profiling capabilities, we can create a powerful platform that addresses the entire spectrum of learning and career development needs,” he said.

The acquisition comes at a time when the demand for online learning and upskilling is on the rise due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The global e-learning market is expected to reach $375 billion by 2026, according to a report by ResearchAndMarkets.com.

Y4W Learning aims to capitalize on this trend by providing a comprehensive suite of online courses and certifications that are designed to meet the evolving needs of the workforce. The platform is set to launch in the coming months and is expected to attract a wide range of learners, from students and recent graduates to mid-career professionals looking to upskill or reskill.
