Bollywood Parks Dubai has announced its permanent closure. The Bollywood-themed Dubai attraction debuted in 2016 to much fanfare, with an opening ceremony event headlined by Indian film icon Shah Rukh Khan.
After previously stating that it would close for the duration of Ramadan, Bollywood Parks Dubai has informed disappointed customers that it will close permanently. A holding message explaining the closure greets visitors to the attraction’s website. Dubai Parks and Resorts will be “announcing exciting details of the new attractions and experiences set to open” in the coming months, according to the message. “The final curtain call,” the theme park attraction said in an Instagram post. Bollywood Parks Dubai will close its doors for good on April 20, 2023.
