Alison, an Israeli firm that uses AI technology to analyse creative work, raised $5.1 million in a pre-seed fundraising round led by Crescendo Venture Partners and yellowHEAD. The company provides creative teams with data-driven creative brief ideas that can be fed into AI production platforms or a human creative team. VidMob, Replai, and Vizit are among Alison AI’s competitors.
The company’s distinguishing feature is its ability to analyse advertising creative aspects across social networks, allowing advertisers to understand which elements had the greatest influence on the creatives of their competitors. To recognise parts of the creative, over ten AI models are used, including word recognition, voice recognition, picture recognition, and sentiment recognition.
According to Alison AI co-founder and CEO Asaf Yanai, the firm currently analyses 1 billion creative aspects across all social platforms, including YouTube, AdWords, AdMob, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, and others.
