Careem Food, the food delivery segment of super app Careem, has revealed cashback for late orders as part of a new promotion. The company will pay AED1 for each minute the order is late past its delivery time.

“Obtain dirhams for delays.” “Get AED1 for every minute of delay,” the app’s pop-up announcement read.

Terms and conditions
Valid from May 8 to June 8.
Maximum payment per order is AED10.
An order is considered late if the ‘actual delivery time’ exceeds one minute beyond the estimated delivery time, as displayed by the app.
Payments are transferred to Careem Pay wallet.
Restaurants with ‘basic tracking’ are not part of the promotion.

Last week, Careem announced a free ride service in partnership with Dubai Parks and Resorts to offer guests a free ride to and from the theme park.
