NEOM has partnered with Rajasthan Royals, one of India’s best T20 cricket league clubs, to provide its first cricket programme.

The historic pilot programme aims to promote an active and healthy lifestyle among the rising workforce, which is expected to exceed 60,000 individuals by the end of the year. Rajasthan Royals, founded in 2008 and based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is one of the world’s most known cricket teams, with an international reputation for its academies and community foundation work.

To commemorate the collaboration, Rajasthan Royals principal owner Manoj Badale visited the area to meet CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr, community members, and participate in a variety of cricket sessions. The cricket programme will emphasise inclusivity and will represent the Royals’ dedication to international cricket growth and innovation.

Cricket has become one of the project’s most popular sports, attracting greater participation and a growing number of spectators among those working on site, with a workforce of thousands already based at the development.
