The Secretariat General of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council has announced the development of a new jobs portal specifically designed for people in the Gulf Cooperation Council. This portal is set to be launched in the near future, providing a significant boost for jobseekers in the region.
GCC Enhanced Opportunities for Jobseekers and Employers
The upcoming jobs portal will serve as a platform for employers to post vacancies and connect with interested candidates across the Gulf region. This development aims to streamline the job search process and facilitate efficient recruitment practices within the GCC countries.
GCC Inclusive Registration and Transparent Procedures
Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, expressed the General Secretariat’s intention to attract Gulf employees through the new employment portal. Registration will be open to all citizens of the GCC countries. Subject to the respective conditions, regulations, and available job opportunities.
In addition during a presentation at the General Secretariat’s headquarters in Riyadh, the team responsible for the employment portal briefed the Secretary General on its features. Albudaiwi highlighted that his team developed the portal in accordance with updated regulations to simplify applicant registration and ensure transparency, fairness, and equal opportunities in the process.
Registration, Application Monitoring, and Selection Process
The new jobs portal will enable jobseekers to register on the platform and easily track the progress of their applications. Specialized committees will conduct interviews and select candidates who meet the necessary criteria for each position.
The General Secretariat plans to announce new vacancies through the portal in the near future. Providing further opportunities for individuals seeking employment within the GCC. This initiative aims to enhance the job market and then facilitate efficient recruitment procedures. This will meet the needs of both jobseekers and employers in the region.
