Birdeye, a global leader in digital customer experience, announced that it has exceeded $100M in annual recurring revenue (ARR). With a focus on providing an intuitive and innovative platform, Birdeye is trusted by more than 100,000 local businesses everyday as they go digital. These local brands and businesses can now provide Amazon-like experiences to their 100M+ customers using Birdeye’s automation and AI tools.

“This is a momentous milestone for Birdeye. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our customers, partners, and above all our passionate employees”, said Naveen Gupta, Co-founder and CEO at Birdeye. “We have a tremendous opportunity globally to help millions of local brands and businesses grow. To that end, we have an ambitious vision to 10x our scale and serve a million businesses and their billion customers”, continued Gupta, 2021 EY Entrepreneur of the Year.

Rapid Expansion: Birdeye’s Workforce Set to Double in India

In India, Birdeye already has 500 employees in Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Finance, Marketing, and Sales. The company is rapidly expanding and plans to double its workforce to 1,000 people within the next year, with extensive hiring scheduled in all departments and regions of India.

To fuel this growth, Birdeye has partnered with top universities like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), BITS Pilani, and National Institutes of Technology (NIT) for campus hiring, showcasing its commitment to nurturing local talent and fostering innovation. Glassdoor and LinkedIn have recognized Birdeye as one of the top places to work, with its employees highlighting its core values: Customer Obsession, Innovation, World-class, and Family Spirit.

“We are doubling down on AI and hiring engineers in India rapidly to accelerate our growth”, said Neeraj Gupta, Co-founder and President R&D/CS at Birdeye. “Over the last 10 years, we have been at the forefront of AI innovations for local businesses. We just announced a strategic partnership with Google that expands our AI capabilities, by integrating BIRD AI with Google BARD and VERTEX AI.”

About Birdeye

The company attributes its remarkable growth to its metric-focused approach and its ability to tap into global talent, resulting in profitable growth and a cash burn of less than $10 million since inception. The company has raised more than 100M in funding from Tier 1 Silicon Valley investors like Trinity Ventures, World Innovation Labs, Accel KKR, Marc Benioff, Co-founder of Salesforce, Jerry Yang, Co-founder of Yahoo. Last year, Birdeye acquired Cube Online to expand its presence in Europe and the Asia-Pacific.

The company has gained widespread recognition as the #1 rated platform on sites like G2 crowd, Google, and Capterra. Last year, Birdeye ranked #1 software platform in 64 categories around listings, reviews, surveys, social, webchat, insights and many others. With this momentum, Birdeye is poised to further invest in product development, expand its global footprint, and bolster its team of skilled professionals.
