Users can unpin feeds they dislike and discover and install new feeds that better suit their interests. Despite its innovative approach and decentralized networking protocol, Bluesky faces challenges. The company has faced criticism for its handling of moderation issues, including allowing usernames with racial slurs. Operating in an invite-only mode further limits its user base, while competition from Meta’s Threads app, boasting 100 million users, puts Bluesky under pressure to entice Twitter migrants to its platform.
