Rang De and PhysicsWallah Partner to Provide Affordable Loans for Education

Share via:

Social investing platform Rang De has joined forces with edtech startup PhysicsWallah to offer cost-effective loans to economically disadvantaged students. This collaboration aims to provide students with access to affordable, collateral-free education loans tailored for the PhysicsWallah Institute of Innovation (PW IOI), a four-year residential program specializing in Computer Science and AI.

“This partnership is a pivotal step towards realizing our mission of democratizing education at scale in India,” said Prateek Maheshwari,  Co-founder, of PhysicsWalla.

Through this initiative, students will have the opportunity to secure collateral-free loans averaging between Rs 3-4 lakh, financed by social investors (lenders on Rang De’s platform). These loans can be repaid upon the successful completion of the course.

PhysicsWallah is set to commence the first batch of the Computer Science and AI program on September 27.
