SaaS firm KaarTech has acquired Chicago-based customer experience solutions consultancy company Dunn Solutions for an undisclosed amount.

In a statement, KaarTech said the acquisition will broaden its geography and capability and enable it to provide cutting-edge digital solutions that drive business growth and competitiveness.

Founded in 1988, Dunn is a digital commerce and business transformation consultancy that operates out of Bengaluru and Minneapolis.

“KaarTech has earned a reputation as a key driver of SAP innovation across a number of verticals over the years globally, and we are excited to join them as we look to leverage the assets and experience of Dunn Solutions to continue building on KaarTech’s success in the Digital Transformation Space,” Dunn Solutions CEO Bill Dunn said on the acquisition.

Founded in 2006 by Maran Nagarajan, Ratnakumar Nagarajan, Selvakumaran Manickam and Gaurdian George, KaarTech is a digital transformation and consulting company with specialisation in providing IP and digital services in the SAP ecosystem across sectors.

Commenting on the acquisition, KaarTech CEO Nagarajan said, “This partnership brings together the best of both worlds – our SAP expertise and Dunn Solutions’ prowess in customer experience – to create a transformative force that will deliver exceptional value to our clients.”

KaarTech claims to operate across 15+ global regions, successfully executing over 2500 projects. In an interaction with Inc42 earlier this year, Nagarajan said the company is working on 90 active projects, with over 300 enterprise customers served since inception

After remaining bootstrapped for nearly 17 years, KaarTech raised $30 Mn from Mumbai-based investment firm A91 Partners in July to strengthen its presence in the overseas markets.

Nagarajan, during his interaction with Inc42 said, the company will use the fresh funds for an acquisition in data engineering or business process management space, along with one in the digital commerce sector.

The company is currently eyeing a public listing between December 2025 and March 2026. KaarTech claimed its net profit stood at INR 65 Cr in FY23 on a revenue of INR 350 Cr.

According to a report by Statista, the Indian SaaS market is expected to reach a size of $3.2 Bn by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 10.88% during the forecast period of 2023-27.
