Just days following the unveiling of the iPhone 15 series, Aptronix, Apple’s premier partner reseller in India, has initiated the series’ launch across all its outlets nationwide.

Alongside the iPhone 15, the outlets will also feature the Apple Watch 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 series. This year marks a significant expansion for Aptronix, extending its presence to 20 cities across India, with plans for further outreach in alignment with Apple’s strategy to enlarge its retail footprint within the country.

Beyond the realms of Tier I and Tier II cities, Aptronix has made inroads into Tier III and Tier IV towns, including Siddipet, Guntur, Vizianagaram, Bhimavaram, and Mysore, as reported by UNI.

Capitalising on the iPhone craze, quick commerce platform Blinkit has already introduced the iPhone 15 series for customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru, while Reliance Jio has also commenced offering the latest devices from the tech giant.

Apple began the pre-booking of its latest range across 40 locations including India from September 15.

However, most devices will still come from China, the primary manufacturing base of Apple. However several reports suggest that the tech giant might also sell made in India iPhone 15 too.  In India, as of now, Apple’s vendor Foxconn is producing iPhone 15 at its Tamil Nadu plant.

The Cupertino-based tech giant has also recently pipped the likes of Samsung to become the largest smartphone exporter from India, both in terms of sheer numbers and the value of exports. In FY22, Apple exported iPhones worth $7 Bn from India, a figure the tech giant is looking to pump 5X to $40 Bn by 2027-28

In recent times, Apple’s manufacturers Foxconn, Wistron and Pegatron have all invested heavily in India to scale production of iPhones and start manufacturing other Apple products in the country.

Apple is also contemplating the production of AirPods starting next year. However, there are no signs indicating whether Apple will initiate the manufacturing of iPads or MacBooks in India.
