WhatsApp may soon roll out a new search feature

Share via:

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a search feature for its Updates tab. The feature will allow users to search for status updates, followed channels, and other verified channels without opening the channel directory. This functionality is being developed in response to user complaints about the complexity of searching for specific status updates. The search feature is currently under development and will be available in a future app update. Additionally, WhatsApp has announced the discontinuation of support for certain outdated smartphone models starting from October 24, 2023.
