Streaming platform Twitch is reportedly laying off approximately 400 employees ahead of the TwitchCon event in October. This is the second round of layoffs for the company this year, after Amazon laid off around 400 Twitch staff earlier in 2023. The latest cuts are said to be focused on the customer experience department, with Twitch planning to outsource these roles to external vendors.
