Syntellect, an innovative India-based fintech startup specializing in affordable housing, is thrilled to announce its selection for the prestigious Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders Program. Syntellect’s flagship product, ‘RightProfile,’ is designed to utilize cutting-edge technologies such as data science, AI, ML, advanced analytics, specialized programming, and statistics to provide actionable insights and decision intelligence to global lenders, with a specific focus on the top 20 industries.
The Google for Startups Accelerator program is strategically designed to empower and support women entrepreneurs in India who are leveraging technology to address complex societal issues. Out of the 300 applications, Google India has handpicked 20 women entrepreneurs, including Sumedha Salunkhe Naik, CEO, and founder of Syntellect. This initiative is aimed at amplifying the presence of women in India’s digital workforce, covering entrepreneurship and upskilling to ensure technology is universally relevant and advantageous.
India, the world’s most populated country with 1.4 billion people, faces a persistent challenge in providing housing, especially for low-income urban households. To tackle this issue, the Indian government initiated the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in 2015. PMAY aims to offer affordable housing and eliminate housing shortages in both urban and rural areas. In 2022, the PMAY program successfully delivered 6.5 million completed houses in urban areas, highlighting the potential for accelerated financial inclusion.
Recognizing the intricacies of income and loan feasibility among low-income households, Sumedha, the founder of Syntellect, introduced “RightProfile” in 2017. This innovative solution equips lenders with intelligent insights to assess the financial status of underserved and unbanked low-income informal customers, ultimately promoting financial inclusion for a diverse range of individuals. Since its inception, the platform has created customer profiles for over 14,000 clients, garnering acclaim from esteemed global institutions along the way.
Sumedha Salunkhe Naik, CEO of Syntellect, expressed her enthusiasm about the program, stating, “We are thrilled to be a part of the Google for Startups Accelerator Program. At Syntellect, we always aim to drive financial inclusion through our technology platform, and this recognition reaffirms our commitment to our mission. We look forward to leveraging the resources and expertise offered by Google to continue making a positive impact on society.”
Syntellect’s participation in the Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders Program signifies not only a significant milestone for the company but also a promising step towards addressing the critical issue of affordable housing and financial inclusion in India.
