The lens is lightweight, making it suitable for hand-held shooting of fast-moving subjects like birds. It features PF lens and ED glass elements to reduce chromatic aberration, as well as a memory recall function and customizable buttons. The lens also offers superior stabilization with its Normal VR and Sport VR modes, and when paired with a compatible body, it can achieve up to 6.0-stop stabilization with Synchro VR.
