HP hires former Apple employee to lead India operations

HP has named Ipsita Dasgupta as the senior vice president and managing director of HP’s India market. Dasgupta, a former Apple employee, will be responsible for leading HP’s strategy and P&L in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. She brings 24 years of international operating experience to the role, having previously held positions at Star India and General Electric Company.
