Reliance Reveals JioPhone Prima 4G Feature Phone Following Jio Bharat

Reliance Jio has introduced its latest addition to the JioPhone series, the JioPhone Prima 4G, which is expected to hit the market around Diwali with a price tag of Rs 2,599, according to reports. This new JioPhone comes equipped with popular social media apps like WhatsApp and YouTube.

The JioPhone Prima 4G fills the gap between the JioPhone Next 4G smartphone and the recently launched JioBharat 4G feature phone from Reliance Retail, which is priced at Rs 999.

The JioPhone Prima features a 2.4-inch TFT display with a resolution of 320×240 pixels, complete with a 0.3MP front-facing camera. Additionally, it is equipped with a rear camera with flash.

Under the hood, it is powered by the ARM Cortex A53 processor, paired with 512MB of RAM and an 1800mAh battery. Users can expand its storage capacity up to 128GB with a microSD card. The device runs on the KaiOS mobile operating system.

The JioPhone Prima supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and features an FM radio.

Furthermore, Jio’s latest 4G feature phone comes with a range of pre-installed mobile apps, including JioTV, JioCinema, JioNews, and the UPI payments app JioPay.
