Why Pakistan cricket team used Zomato to order food

Share via:

The Pakistan cricket team chose to skip dinner at their team hotel ahead of their World Cup match against Bangladesh and instead ordered food through the app Zomato. They ordered biryani, kebabs, and chap from Kolkata’s Zam Zam Restaurant. The restaurant initially had no idea the order was from the Pakistan team. Former captain Wasim Akram criticized the team’s dietary habits, suggesting they eat too much meat. Pakistan’s head coach, Grant Bradburn, blamed their poor performance on unfamiliar Indian conditions.
