Yulu, the shared electric mobility startup, has officially appointed Anuj Tewari, its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as the newest co-founder. This expansion of the founding team includes existing members CEO Amit Gupta, CTO Naveen Dachuri, and President of Ecosystem Partnerships RK Misra.
Anuj Tewari played a pivotal role in shaping Yulu’s growth strategy and was at the forefront of leading fundraising negotiations for the startup. This elevation of Tewari to the co-founder position aligns with Yulu’s ongoing rapid scaling of operations, aiming to achieve a substantial 7X-8X year-on-year increase in revenue for the fiscal year 2023-24.
Expressing his thoughts on the announcement, Anuj Tewari stated, “It is a great honor to become a part of Yulu’s founding team. I am humbled as I accept this responsibility and look forward to working with this unstoppable team.”
Amit Gupta, the co-founder and CEO of Yulu, expressed confidence in the choice, saying, “We could not have asked for a better, or more natural, choice than Anuj to join Yulu’s founding team.” The move signifies Yulu’s strategic decision to strengthen its leadership as it continues to navigate the dynamic landscape of shared electric mobility.
