The Indian gamers’ community is benefitting from the growing Esports industry with diverse career opportunities and increased earnings. The HP India Gaming Landscape Study 2023 highlighted a positive shift in parents’ attitudes towards gaming. Income from gaming is on the rise in India, with nearly half of serious gamers earning between 6 to 12 lakh per annum in 2023. HP has introduced ‘HP Gaming Garage’, a free-of-cost online professional certificate program on Esports management and Game development.
