iPhone warning notifications to MPs: Apple team likely to meet CERT-In officials this month

Apple’s cyber security executives are likely to meet CERT-In officials this month regarding the show cause notice issued by the government of India. The notice was issued after several opposition MPs received a warning notification on their iPhones, alleging hacking by the government. Apple has to reply to the notice, and their global cyber security team will come from the US to meet CERT-In. MPs who received the notifications include Mallikarjun Kharge, Shashi Tharoor, Akhilesh Yadav, and Rahul Gandhi’s aides.
