Thomson to manufacture entry-level Windows 11-run laptop in India

India’s PLI scheme for manufacturing IT hardware receives a boost as Sahasra Group, a government-approved beneficiary, secures its first order to manufacture laptops for Thomson. The made-in-India laptops and tablets will be budget-friendly and available both online (Amazon, Flipkart) and offline (Croma, Vijay Sales) from January 2024. Thomson plans to target the entry-level segment with Windows 11-run laptops priced below Rs 19,990.
