Amazon unveils AI chip to compete with Microsoft, Nvidia and AMD

Amazon unveils Trainium2 chip for training large language models, offering 4x faster training and 2x energy efficiency than previous Trainium chips. The chip can be deployed in Amazon EC2 UltraClusters with up to 100,000 chips. Amazon also launches AWS Graviton4 chip, providing better compute performance, more cores, and memory bandwidth than Graviton3 processors.
