Google’s new AI tool can create music from over 100 world instruments

Google Arts & Culture Lab’s artist in residence, Simon Doury, has introduced Instrument Playground, an AI-powered tool that allows users to create music inspired by instruments from around the world. The tool, trained with 100 musical instruments, generates 20-second sound clips based on the user’s instrument selection and prompts. Users can also add adjectives to shape the results, including festive terms like ‘merry’ and ‘joyful’.
