AIC T-Hub launches Space Tech Incubation Program for startups: Know the details

Hyderabad-based startup incubator T-Hub today unveiled its Space Tech Incubation Program under the AIC T-Hub Foundation.

The initiative, which is in collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), is set to revolutionize India’s SpaceTech sector by nurturing 10 selected spacetech startups. The program focuses on fostering innovation and growth in the SpaceTech entrepreneurial landscape.

What will be the benefits for startups?

The chosen startups, including Onnes, Nveeas Labs, Spantrik, STEM & Space, TaraMandal, and Hindustan Magnesium Products Private Limited, were selected based on founder experience, product innovation, and business model strength. 

The selected startups will benefit from grants, access to venture capitalists, state-of-the-art labs, global mentors, industry experts, and insights from veteran spacetech entrepreneurs. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum focusing on mentorship, market fit, corporate connections, and investor access.

Providing expert mentorship

The program will feature active participation from founders of leading space companies such as Skyroot and Dhruva Space, who will provide their expertise and time to mentor the startups, significantly enhancing the program’s impact.

The launch event was attended by notable figures like Mahankali Srinivas Rao, Dr. G Satheesh Reddy, Pawan Kumar Chandana, Sanjay Nekkanti, and Hitendra Gandhi, highlighting the program’s significance in the SpaceTech sector. 

What is AIC-AIM?

Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) intends to support the establishment of new greenfield incubation centres called Atal Incubation Centres (AICs) that would nurture innovative startups in their pursuit to become scalable and sustainable business enterprises.

AIM will support these AICs in creating world-class incubation facilities across the country with the state-of-the-art physical infrastructure, in terms of capital equipment and operating facilities available to their incubated startups, coupled with the availability of sectoral experts for mentoring.

Apart from this, business planning support, access to seed capital, industry partnerships, training and other relevant components required for supporting innovative startups will be provided.
