During The Game Awards, Hideo Kojima unveiled his next game, titled Overdose, developed in partnership with Xbox Game Studios. Director Jordan Peele, known for his Oscar-winning work, is joining Kojima. Actors Hunter Schafer, Sophia Lillis, and Udo Kier are set to perform in the game. OD explores the concept of testing fear thresholds, blurring the boundaries of gaming and film. The teaser trailer features close-up shots of the actors reciting a peculiar line. Fans speculate that Guillermo Del Toro may be involved. No release date is available as Kojima Productions is working on multiple games, including the Death Stranding sequel.
