Google selects 20 AI-focused startups for its India Accelerator Program

Share via:

Earlier this year, Google put out a call for AI-focused startups in India to join its mentorship program, receiving a whopping 720 applications over several months. Out of this pool, Google has now handpicked 20 Indian startups for its accelerator initiative. Farish CV, the Program Manager of Google for Startups Accelerator in India, emphasized their commitment to nurturing innovative startups in India’s rapidly evolving AI landscape, aiming to foster responsible AI solutions that positively impact industries and lives.

Among the selected startups is Beatoven.ai, providing an AI-powered platform for royalty-free background music creation, catering to content creators. ZuAI stands out with its AI-based app designed as a self-study companion for students.

Additionally, the roster includes immunitoAI, a biotech firm specializing in AI-generated antibody therapeutics with predefined drug properties.

The chosen startups encompass a diverse range of AI applications, such as DhiWise, FilterPixel, GalaxEye Space, Gan.ai, Goodmeetings, Kalam, Keploy, Mugafi, NeuroPixel.AI, Onward Assist, Pepper Content, Prescinto, Presentations.AI, SpoofSense.ai, Wright Research, Zocket, and ZuAI.

The accelerator program kicks off with an in-person boot camp featuring training workshops and mentorship. Throughout the program, these startup pioneers will engage with industry and Google experts, receiving invaluable feedback on their products and refining aspects of design, technology, and scalability.

Toward the culmination, a select few will have the opportunity to connect with industry veterans and venture capitalists, fostering further growth for their companies.
