Manu Sharma, former senior director at Samsung India’s mobile business, joined Nothing as vice president and general manager for Nothing India before the brand’s first smartphone launch in February 2021.
Recently, in a LinkedIn statement, Sharma disclosed his decision to leave Nothing India by January 2024 after almost three years with the company. Citing personal reasons, he expressed confidence in the company’s strong product lineup for 2024 and praised the competence of its staff.
In his LinkedIn post, Sharma stated, “As we approach 2024, I’ve decided to move on from Nothing. The past 3 years have been incredibly fulfilling, building the foundation of the Nothing brand in India from scratch.”
Despite his departure, Sharma affirmed Nothing India’s robust position, assuring a solid product pipeline for 2024 and highlighting the capable team. He committed to staying with Nothing India until the end of January 2024.
Furthermore, Nothing has confirmed an upcoming event on February 27th at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in the following year. This event is anticipated to reveal details about Nothing’s next flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3).
