Nestroots, a Shark Tank India featured home decor and lifestyle brand, has secured Rs 3 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Beyond Seed Singapore and expertly managed by Bestvantage Investments.
The brand, known for its new-age design and quality, plans to use this investment to enhance its online presence and expand into international markets, including the US, Canada, and the UAE, over the next five years.
Focusing on market expansion and product diversification
Founded by Chhavi Singh and Shekhar Godiyal, The startup said it aims to diversify its product range, introducing categories like Kids’ Furniture and larger Furniture, in addition to its existing decor offerings.
Apart from this, Nestroots is also focusing on increasing its offline presence through Shop-in-Shops (SIS) and Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs). The strategy is part of its vision to become a ‘Home-Everything’ destination, catering to the growing demand in India’s $32 billion home decor market, which is projected to reach $39.44 billion by 2027.

He added that, over the next five years, the startup plans to showcase the richness of Indian design alongside international aesthetics, offering premium designs at accessible prices.

Arjun Vaidya, a notable Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) mentor and investor, has joined the funding round and will serve as a mentor.
How much funding did Nestroots raise in Shark Tank India?
Prior to this, Nestroots was featured in Shark Tank India Season 2 where it raised Rs 50 Lakhs investment for 2% equity from Emcure Pharma’s Namita Thapar. The startup has a strong e-commerce presence across platforms like Amazon, Pepperfry, and Myntra.
With over 55,000 users since its inception, the Gurugram-based startup aims to revolutionize the home decor industry, focusing on crafting homes that combine aesthetics, quality, and affordability.
