CtrlS Datacenters Ltd has commenced the construction of its new facility in GIFT City, Gujarat. The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendrabhai Patel, marked the beginning of this project by laying the foundation stone.
Investment and job creation in Gujarat
The project, involving an investment of over Rs 250 crore, is expected to generate 1,000 jobs, both directly and indirectly. CtrlS Datacenters was chosen for this project due to its robust business model and its capability to develop a comprehensive ecosystem, including its Rated-4 infrastructure.
Strategic location
Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Chairman of CtrlS Datacenters, highlighted Gujarat’s rapid economic growth and strategic importance. The datacenter, located in GIFT City, will be accessible to major state clusters and is poised to serve the digital needs of various industries, particularly the BFSI sector. GIFT City, known as a global financial hub, hosts numerous large financial institutions.

CtrlS datacenters’ expansion
CtrlS Datacenters plans to enhance the digital infrastructure in Gujarat, which is home to banks, financial services, and IT companies. The company, known for its high uptime SLA and energy-efficient operations, also intends to extend Cloud4C’s managed services in GIFT City.
Furthermore, CtrlS has announced a $2 billion investment plan focusing on hyperscale datacenters, achieving Net Zero, and augmenting team strength. The company, operational since 2007, is also exploring new markets in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
