NASA announced missions for 2024 including Artemis II and Artemis III moon missions. SpaceX Crew-8 and Crew-9 launches expected in February and August. The Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover (VIPER) will launch in October to search for water ice on the lunar South Pole. September will see the launch of the Martian Moons eXploration (MMX) mission by JAXA to collect a sample from Mars’ moon Phobos. These missions will push the boundaries of space exploration.
