A family from Florida used Apple’s AirTag item tracker to recover their stolen luggage in North Carolina. Catherine Gavino tracked down her missing bag to a house in Gastonia with the help of the AirTag. The police were notified and found the family’s suitcase, as well as another victim’s stolen luggage. The suspect was arrested and charged with multiple theft crimes. AirTags have been successful in preventing various crimes, including stolen cars, stolen luggage, and even a stolen bull statue from a Taco restaurant in Texas.
