SpaceX launches satellites for satellite-based internet, enabling mobile phone connectivity anywhere on Earth. The technology, called Starlink, works with existing LTE phones and requires no hardware changes. Starlink aims to partner with mobile network operators (MNOs) to integrate their services into existing cellular networks. However, concerns exist about congestion and interference with existing satellite communication systems. In addition to mobile connectivity, Starlink’s satellites will also improve broadband services for homes, businesses, and industries.
