India’s telecom tariffs are among the lowest in the world, with the percentage of telecom tariffs as a percentage of per capita gross national income (GNIpc) being second lowest after Brazil. India’s telecom services tariff is the lowest globally at $2 per month, while Brazil’s is significantly higher at $6.1 per month. Other countries like China, Philippines, Malaysia, US, Thailand, Mexico, and South Africa have much higher telecom tariffs.
