iD Fresh Food, a leading Indian food company, has announced the appointment of industry veteran Rajat Diwaker as its new India CEO. With over two decades of experience in the FMCG industry, Rajat most recently served as the Managing Director of Marico Bangladesh Limited. He also holds the position of director on the board of Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Bangladesh.

In a strategic move, PC Musthafa, who has led iD Fresh for nearly two decades, will assume the role of Global CEO while continuing to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Musthafa’s new responsibilities will include overseeing global expansions, developing food-tech capabilities, driving strategic acquisitions, nurturing organizational culture, and spearheading iD Fresh’s innovations for the global market.

As part of its growth strategy, iD Fresh plans to appoint dedicated Business Heads and CEOs for each international market. Currently, over a third of the company’s revenues come from outside India. Looking ahead to 2024, iD Fresh aims to enter new markets, such as Singapore and Australia, while strengthening its presence in existing markets.

Expressing his views on these developments, PC Musthafa, Global CEO of iD Fresh Food, commented, “iD Fresh’s journey so far has been incredibly rewarding, and we continue to make tremendous strides. I am delighted to welcome Rajat Diwaker to the iD Fresh family. Under his able and forward-looking leadership, I’m confident that we will scale new heights and win more hearts in the years to come. And as we embark on new adventures, I am thrilled to lead the brand into new global markets, driven by the incessant consumer love that we have garnered over the years.”
