This functionality ensures that pinned channels will maintain a prominent position at the top of the list, facilitating convenient access and visibility for users. It’s worth mentioning that this feature will debut alongside a redesigned interface for channels, resembling the current layout of the chats tab.
“Users will be able to prioritize and highlight the channels that are most important or frequently accessed. This feature will help users organize their channels based on relevance or priority, ensuring that important channels are readily available at the top of the list. In addition, as users join more channels, the channel list can become cluttered and finding specific channels may become time-consuming,” mentioned the report.

WhatsApp working on bringing passkeys to iPhones

As per a recent online report, WhatsApp is rolling out a new passkey feature tailored for iPhone users. According to WABetaInfo, the passkey feature has been launched for iOS beta testers in the updated version 24.2.10.73.
iPhone users can now smoothly adopt this feature, eliminating the need to handle passwords or one-time PINs. Instead, they can rely on their trusted Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode. This enhancement not only enhances security but also simplifies the login process, striking a balance between convenience and safety.
