Beautywise Secures INR 6.5 Crores in Successful First Round of Seed Funding

Beautywise, a startup in the dermatological and beauty supplement sector, proudly announces the successful completion of its first funding round, securing a substantial INR 6.5 Crores. With products available in over 500 pharmacies and endorsed by more than 150 Skin Clinics across India, Beautywise has demonstrated remarkable market success.

The funding round was led by AC Ventures and co-led by Fluid Ventures, Real Time Angel Fund (RTAF), and GSF, with participation from LetsVenture Angel Fund and a distinguished group of marquee investors. Notable contributors include industry leaders such as Dinesh Agarwal, Murugavel Janakiraman, Akshay Ghulati, Chakradhar Gade, Agam Khare, Arjun Vaidya, Sandeep Kohli, Bharat Kalia, Nitin Gupta, Siddhartha Pahwa, Agastya Dalmia, and Aman Arora, Directors at Keventers.

Beautywise also secured a strategic investment from Associated Capsule Group (ACG), a leading provider of integrated solutions for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, further accelerating Beautywise’s vision.

Anousha Chauhan, Founder of Beautywise, expressed her excitement, stating, “This fundraise represents a pivotal step towards realizing our vision of empowering individuals to achieve their authentic beauty and wellness through our dermatology-led, results-driven formulations.”

Shreyansh Chauhan, Founder and CEO of Beautywise, emphasized the brand’s philosophy, saying, “This funding will enable us to continue developing revolutionary products and to expand our team and retail presence. It will also be used to conduct market research, establish distribution networks, and implement promotional activities to effectively reach a wider audience.”

The funds will be utilized to introduce innovative products, expand the team, and solidify Beautywise’s global market presence. Beautywise, honored with the Estée Lauder Beauty & You award in November 2023, is dedicated to delivering clean, scientifically supported, and dermatologist-recommended solutions.

“This funding will allow Beautywise to move forward in a retail marketing strategy aligned with the anticipated growth in Beauty Retail, Aesthetic Dermatology Clinics, and premium salons. The company plans to explore the development of a Business-to-Direct-to-Consumer (B2D2C) platform, facilitating the onboarding of dermatologists, nutritionists, and beauty professionals,” said Shreyansh Chauhan.

Founded in 2021 by Anousha Chauhan and Shreyansh Chauhan, Beautywise targets a discerning audience aged 24 to 44, with a notable 30% male following. The brand’s products, including collagen, glutathione, keratin, and ceramides, usher in a new era in skincare with their Dual Action technology capsule format, ensuring controlled, optimal absorption over time.
