WNS Holdings: WNS opens 40,000 sq ft delivery centre in Hyderabad

Business process management (BPM) solutions provider WNS Holdings on Thursday announced the launch of its new 40,000 sq ft delivery center in Hyderabad.

“As a part of WNS’ global delivery network, this facility will focus on building and delivering industry-led digital solutions across sectors, including shipping and logistics, healthcare, banking and financial services, insurance, and high-tech and professional services,” the company said in a statement.

The Hyderabad office has a total of around 1,400 employees, a company spokesperson confirmed.

The new center, located at Prestige Sky Tech, Nanakramguda in Hyderabad, joins nine other centres including Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurugram, Indore, Mumbai, Nashik, Noida, Pune and Vizag among the cities where WNS has delivery centers in India.

“The expansion allows WNS to enhance our tailored solutions, providing clients with the optimal mix of services, talent, location, and technology. Hyderabad’s unique capabilities, supported by its skilled workforce and strong governmental backing, presents exciting opportunities for growth in the IT-BPM sector,” said Keshav Murugesh, Group CEO for WNS.

As of December end 2023, WNS had 60,652 professionals across 66 delivery centers worldwide including facilities in Canada, China, Costa Rica, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

For Q3FY24, the Mumbai-headquartered firm reported a 14% year-on-year growth in net profit at $39.6 million on a revenue of $326.2 million, representing a 6.3% increase as compared to a year ago period.On a sequential basis, profit was down 14% and revenue was down 2.3%.
