PropulsionAI: Empowering Enterprises with Custom LLMs in Days, Not Months

Share via:

New Delhi, India, July 17, 2024: Two visionary entrepreneurs are making waves in the artificial intelligence sector with their innovative platform, PropulsionAI. Harsh Nigam and Rohit Hazra, childhood friends turned tech innovators, have created a solution that allows enterprises to build custom Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored to their unique use cases in a fraction of the time traditionally required.

We sat down with the founders to discuss their journey, challenges, and vision for the future of enterprise AI.

Q1: Your journey from school friends to AI innovators is quite remarkable. Can you tell us about your background, and what led you to create PropulsionAI?

Harsh Nigam: Rohit and I have known each other since 2008, and our shared passion for technology has been the driving force behind our ventures. In 2016, we took our first leap into entrepreneurship by starting a software consultancy company. Over the years, we scaled it to a team of 50, delivered over 100 products, and generated millions in revenue. Eventually, in 2023, we saw the immense potential in AI and decided to take a big bet on it.

Rohit Hazra: That’s right. We wrapped up our consultancy to entirely focus on AI, which led to the creation of PropulsionAI. Our platform enables enterprises to harness the power of generative AI and tailor it to their specific use cases for building AI-powered applications.

Q2: PropulsionAI seems to offer unique capabilities. Can you elaborate on what sets your platform apart?

Rohit: Certainly. PropulsionAI stands out with its 1-click knowledge base creation, brilliant dataset creation and management, robust model training infrastructure, comprehensive model evaluation suite, and scalable deployment options. Our platform allows enterprises to build custom LLMs in days, not months, a game-changer in the industry.

Harsh: Even more exciting is that enterprises using our platform are already achieving better accuracy than GPT-4 and Claude 3.5 Sonnet on their specific use cases with minimal effort. This level of performance and efficiency is what sets us apart.

Q3: When you decided to establish PropulsionAI, what challenges did you face?

Harsh: The transition wasn’t easy. It took us about 4-6 months to wrap everything up. This involved delivering ongoing projects, transferring knowledge and IP to customers, ensuring our team was placed (mostly with customers), and extensive paperwork. It was a complex process, but we knew it was necessary to commit to our vision for PropulsionAI fully.

Q4: Looking back, how would you describe your journey so far?

Rohit: It’s been nothing short of a great learning curve. We started our first company at 22 without prior entrepreneurial or industry experience. Every day brought new lessons – we won, we lost, but we kept going. This experience is invaluable and helps us every day in our journey with PropulsionAI.

Q5: Your efforts have been recognised by UC Berkeley’s startup accelerator. How has this impacted your vision?

Harsh: Being accepted and funded by UC Berkeley’s prestigious startup accelerator ‘Berkeley Skydeck’ was a significant milestone. It validated our concept and provided us with resources and connections that have been instrumental in refining our platform and strategy.

Q6: What can we expect from PropulsionAI in the near future?

Rohit: We aim to become the de facto LLM development platform for enterprises, focusing on unmatched accuracy. We want to scale the impressive results we’re seeing to thousands of enterprises around the globe while keeping innovation as a priority.

Harsh: Exactly. We’re not just building a product; we’re shaping the future of enterprise

AI. Our journey from a small town in India to the forefront of AI innovation is a testament to the power of vision, perseverance, and friendship.

PropulsionAI, led by visionaries Harsh Nigam and Rohit Hazra, is transforming enterprise AI by democratising access to advanced language models. With their innovative platform and commitment to success, PropulsionAI is poised to transform how businesses leverage AI technology.
