Vodafone Idea (Vi) announced a range of services for the Ambaji Bhadarvi Purnima Mela, running from September 12-18, 2024. The third-largest Indian private telecom operator said that Vi users can enjoy live coverage of the temple’s daily rituals through the Vi App and Vi Movies and TV App. Vi has also set up a dedicated first aid center near Ambaji Temple and a Digital Experience Zone at the Mela, the operator said on Friday.

Live Coverage of Rituals via Vi App
The live stream will be available from 6 AM to 11 PM daily between September 12 and September 18, allowing users to witness the sacred ceremonies and rituals in real-time. For those who wish to catch up on any missed moments, a recorded telecast of the previous day’s rituals will be accessible from 11 PM to 6 AM. Dedicated First Aid Center
Vi said its dedicated first aid center is fully equipped with first aid kits, essential medical supplies, beds, and facilities for pilgrims to rest. A qualified doctor will also be available to provide immediate medical assistance to devotees in need.
Speaking on the initiative, Sukanta Das, Cluster Business Head-Gujarat of Vodafone Idea, said, “The Annual Ambaji Mela is one of the most auspicious and largest religious gatherings in Gujarat. Year after year, Vi has been associating with and supporting the local administration around the temple to ensure the safety and convenience of pilgrims. The Live Darshan streamed through the Vi App and Vi Movies and TV App had over 1 lakh Vi users watching the Goddess Ambaji Aarti live last year.”
Digital Experience Zone at the Mela
Additionally, the Digital Experience Zone at the Mela will feature interactive screens for exploring Vi’s products and service offerings through the Vi App.
