The OnePlus 13 was officially launched in China in October 2024, leaving little room for speculation about its specifications. Most features are expected to remain consistent with the Chinese variant.
However, fresh details about the OnePlus 13R have surfaced, giving us reason to believe that it might not be the rebranded OnePlus Ace 5, as previously assumed.
Reliable tipster Yogesh Brar recently shared on X that the OnePlus 13R will sport a 50MP telephoto camera—a key difference from the Ace 5, which comes equipped with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter.

Additionally, OnePlus has confirmed that the 13R will feature a 6,000mAh battery, compared to the Ace 5’s larger 6,500mAh capacity. The device will also boast Gorilla Glass 7i on both the front and back panels for enhanced durability.
Alongside the OnePlus 13 and 13R, the company will unveil a new Sapphire Blue variant of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 on January 7. Reports indicate that the earbuds will include an AI Translation tool, specifically designed to work seamlessly with the OnePlus 13.
