With an eye on bolstering its omnichannel play, men’s D2C fashion brand Snitch plans to open 10 new retail stores in January.

In a post on LinkedIn, Snitch cofounder and CEO Siddharth Dungarwal said that three new stores will be opened in Bengaluru and one each will come up in Delhi, Hubli, Chennai, Guwahati, Pune, Rajahmundry and Lucknow. With this, the startup’s total store count will rise to 45.

“2025 starts here: 10 new Snitch stores, one bold mission — to redefine fashion! Are you ready for this? Back in 2024 we waited 6 months to do our second store, (in) last 8 months we opened 34 and now 10 more in January. 2025 is going to be a roller coaster ride for sure,” Dungarwal said in the post.

The CEO told Inc42 that the startup plans to “aggressively expand” its offline presence and is looking to increase its total store count to 100. As part of this, it plans to add more than 65 new stores to its kitty this year.

“This expansion will not only increase our market penetration but also solidify our presence as a leading fashion destination across India,” Dungarwal told Inc42.

Founded in 2019 by Dungarwal and Chetan Siyal, Snitch started its journey as an offline retail brand but pivoted to online sales a year later as pandemic-induced lockdowns shut physical retail stores across the country. It sells a range of men’s apparels, including shirts, jackets and hoodies, co-ords, sweaters, innerwear, among others.

Snitch’s offline expansion spree comes a year after it bagged $13.19 Mn in its Series A round co-led by SWC Global and IvyCap Ventures. The startup also featured in the 2023 edition of Inc42’s coveted FAST42 list, which captures emerging D2C brands in the country.

The startup also featured on TV show Shark Tank India in 2023 and got an all-shark deal of INR 1.5 Cr from Aman Gupta (boAt), Namita Thapar (Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com), Peyush Bansal (Lenskart) and Vineeta Singh (SUGAR).

It competes with the likes of XYXX, DaMENSCH, Chromozome, BlissClub, Freecultr, Bombay Shirt Company, among others.

Snitch posted a net profit of INR 4.4 Cr in the financial year 2023-24 (FY24) on an operating revenue of INR 243 Cr.
