Fintech major MobiKwik’s cofounder and chief executive officer (CEO) of payments division Chandan Joshi has resigned, citing family commitments. 

“Mr. Chandan Joshi, Co-Founder & CEO – Payments Division, has tendered his resignation from the services of the company to be effective from January 24, 2025 due to family commitments and personal reasons,” the fintech company said in an exchange filing.

Joshi was elevated to the role of cofounder and payments CEO in September 2020, as per his LinkedIn profile. He worked with the company for almost seven years. He joined in 2018 as online and offline business head. 

“It has been my privilege to contribute to MobiKwik’s growth and success during my tenure. I wish MobiKwik continued success in all its endeavours and have the utmost confidence in the leadership team to steer the company towards even greater achievements,” Joshi added.
