Serial entrepreneur, FusionCharts founder, and angel investor Pallav Nadhani has joined AI content creation platform Presentations.AI as a cofounder.
“Excited to announce my role as cofounder at Presentations.AI… Building from India has always been my pride. With @FusionCharts, we showed world-class developer tools could emerge from India. Now with Presentations.AI, we’re crafting the future of visual communication,” said Nadhani in a post on X.
Citing his rationale for joining the Bengaluru-based startup, Nadhani said that Presentations.AI has scaled to achieve 3 Mn users and “multi-million dollar profitability” in a span of one year.
Founded in 2018 by Sumanth Raghavendra and Ravi Kasthuri, Presentations.AI is an AI-powered platform that helps users create presentations from prompts, documents, PDFs, and videos.
Commenting on his appointment, Presentations.AI founder and CEO Raghavendra, in a post on LinkedIn, said, “Extraordinary talent and shared vision transcend traditional startup conventions. Pallav’s leadership has already shaped our culture of excellence. Building a global product company from India requires both ambition and pragmatism. With Pallav as co-founder, these qualities align perfectly.”
Raghavendra added that since Nadhani joined Presentations.AI as head of product a year ago, the latter’s “dedication to craft and user experience transformed our approach”. ”Our growth to 3M+ users and strong profitability stems from this methodical, user-focused development,” said the Presentations.AI CEO.
An alumni of the University of Calcutta and the University of Edinburgh, Nadhani founded data visualisation startup FusionCharts in 2002. He eventually sold the startup to a US-based business software company Idera for an undisclosed amount in 2020. The platform enabled developers to create visually engaging and user-friendly dashboards for web and mobile apps.
Nadhani also cofounded analytics tool platform Muze (charts.com), which he later sold to US-based Mode Analytics. He was also the brain behind the dashboard tool for SharePoint, Collabian.
A volunteer at enterprise tech founders’ community SaaSBooMi, Nadhani is also a cofounder at seed-focussed syndicate fund Seeders. The syndicate fund’s founders claim to have deployed $4.2 Mn across 70+ startups so far.
