Canva: Canva hires ex-Zoom CFO as new finance head as IPO plans loom: report

Canva, a popular designing platform, has picked Kelly Steckelberg, former Zoom Video Communications finance head, to be its chief financial officer, according to a report by CNBC. Steckelberg played a key role in taking Zoom public in 2019 and guided the video-chat company through its Covid-19 pandemic surge.

Steckelberg previously held financial positions at Cisco and was CEO of an online dating company Zoosk before joining Zoom in 2017. She is based in Austin, Texas, while Canva has its headquarters in Sydney, Australia.
