Online merchant payment startup Cashfree Payments has secured $53 million in a fresh equity funding round led by South Korean entertainment company Krafton along with participation from existing investor Apis Partners, which is a UK-based private equity fund.Krafton, which is well known for publishing the popular video game PUBG, has invested in multiple Indian startups like Kuku FM, Pratilipi and others, but this is their first fintech investment in India.
